Sip & Share: Luxury Corporate Networking Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to attendance at Sip & Share: Luxury Corporate Networking, hosted by Workplace Performance & Wellbeing Institute (ABN 67 346 139 979) (“WPWI”, “we”, “our”, “us”).
By purchasing a ticket or attending the event, you (“the attendee”, “you”, “your”) agree to these Terms.
These Terms are to be read together with the WPWI General Terms and Conditions. Both documents form part of your agreement with WPWI.
1. Ticket Sales and Capacity
1.1 Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis and places are limited.
1.2 Once tickets are sold out, no further bookings will be accepted.
1.3 Ticket purchases are processed through ThriveCart or via manual invoice (for group or partner bookings).
1.4 Ticket pricing and inclusions are clearly stated at the time of purchase.
2. Refunds and Transfers
2.1 All ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges are available for change of mind, inability to attend, or change in personal circumstances.
2.2 WPWI complies with its obligations under the Australian Consumer Law. You may be entitled to a remedy only if the event fails to be delivered as described.
2.3 Tickets may be transferred to another person up to 7 days prior to the event, provided WPWI receives written notice with full details of the substitute attendee.
2.4 WPWI reserves the right to refuse transfer requests received within 7 days of the event.
- Entry and Conduct
3.1 WPWI and the venue reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee whose behaviour is inappropriate, disruptive, unsafe, or in violation of venue or event policies.
3.2 This includes, without limitation, harassment, intoxication, excessive noise, or behaviour interfering with other guests’ enjoyment.
3.3 No refunds will be provided if an attendee is refused entry or removed under this clause.
3.4 Responsible service of alcohol is managed by the venue, in accordance with relevant licensing laws. WPWI is not responsible for enforcing or supervising alcohol service.
- Photography and Marketing
4.1 The event may be professionally photographed or filmed.
4.2 By attending, you consent to WPWI using your image, likeness, and voice in promotional, marketing, or educational materials without additional consent or compensation.
4.3 If you do not wish to appear in photographs or recordings, please notify WPWI in writing before the event or see a WPWI team member on the day.
4.4 Unless otherwise requested in writing, you grant WPWI permission to use your organisation’s name and logo which may be used marketing purposes connected to the event.
- Health and Safety
5.1 WPWI and the venue take reasonable measures to provide a safe and comfortable environment for all guests.
5.2 Attendees are responsible for their own health, safety, and wellbeing during the event.
5.3 WPWI is not liable for any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, or incidents that occur during attendance, except as required by law.
- Accessibility and Special Requirements
6.1 WPWI aims to make the event inclusive and accessible.
6.2 Attendees with accessibility needs, dietary requirements, or other special requests must notify WPWI in writing at least 7 days prior to the event so reasonable arrangements can be made.
6.3 Failure to do so may mean WPWI and the venue are unable to accommodate these requests.
- Event Changes and Cancellations
7.1 WPWI reserves the right to modify event details (including date, venue, or structure) where necessary to ensure the best guest experience.
7.2 In the unlikely event that WPWI cancels the event, ticket holders will receive a full refund of the ticket price.
7.3 WPWI will not be responsible for any additional costs incurred by attendees, including travel or accommodation expenses.
- Force Majeure
8.1 WPWI is not liable for any delay, interruption, or cancellation caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or illness.
8.2 In such cases, WPWI will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or provide alternative arrangements.
- Liability
9.1 Attendance at Sip & Share is voluntary. To the maximum extent permitted by law, WPWI accepts no liability for any loss, injury, or damage to personal property arising from attendance or participation.
9.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
- Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
